Stolen pictures :(

Ive just noticed that all my lovely pictures have disapeared..it will be because I thought Id be smart Id put this Chocolate template on :(
Im going to pop some on here!! lol

The yorkie is my little star Tara...amazing little dog and always good for a cuddle!

The lovely girl is my daughter who is what can only be discribed as a teenager...leaves everything at her bum,grunts at you ,wants to eat just junk..and has developed the cheek tone lol BUT she is the most loveable girl and the apple of my eye! x

The handsome devil Im with here is my long suffering hubby..love of my life.x

Good Morning all..yes sleep is not happening AGAIN aghhhhh!



Hiya everyone,
Another night counting the sheep for me and now even the sleep are sleeping and Im still awake!!!!!!
For those of you who dont know I have bad arthritis in my back and now have liver problems which Im worried about so thats keeping me awake as well.
I have a scan on Sunday for my liver much the same as a baby scan so Im told....should be interesting! I then go into see a doctor on the 13th Feb to see what the problem is. I had blood taken last wednesday and got called today to tell me they want it done again as they have found something in it again....the worse thing is they dont tell you what they have found just leave you guessing!haha
The diet has went well today no hiccups..hasnt it been a quick week?? Well it has been for me this will be week 4 on the scales!

Breakfast - toast on laughing cow (old faithful haha)

Lunch - 2 triangle sandwiches with ham,cheese and pickle (hubby pinched other half) 1 scotch pancake with raspberry jam

Dinner - Chicken salad with oven baked home made chips,cart d ore light vanilla ice cream and sugar free jelly.

Night time - ready brek and tunnocks snowball

Saved 1.5 so all in all a jolly good day!

Going to a body shop party tomorow night...really dislike these kinds of parties now! Me and my friends went through a stage when we were having at least one selling party of some kind a week..you feel you have to buy something and its always something you dont need Id much rather pop the £20 in my holiday pot!

Hamster

FAT PHOTOS


After talking to kim tonight I realise that maybe I havent put the fattest of pics on my profile...I am fat in everyone you understand but they perhaps dont quite catch it lol


Soooooooooooooo.....I have decided to pop the picture on from my halloween party this year that really took me aback.....when I saw it I thought woooo my chin is not that big!!


It was from this picture I decided enough is enough and NO more!!
I have always been the fat little sister or big sherry...never just Sherry! I remember not so long ago my mum handing me a tshirt that totally sucked by the way and said 'theres a t shirt for you I bought it but it is too big for me!' It hurt me so much.
I have since noticed that she actually does it alot....has little digs about my weight like youve always been a big lass,constantly asks if u want biscuits even tho she knows m slimming.
I dont want to be that big lass anymore I want to just be me! xx

WELL....what a good bargain day I had today!!!


Well for all you small feeted people out there you are so lucky!!

I on the other hand am a size 9..have been since they operated on my foot and made it worse lol!

today I went to New look with Babzi and I got 6 pairs that were £3 or £5 each ...I was soooo happy with myself!


They are not quite like this bad boy here cause my days of them are well over....sadly lol

Ive had a good days eating today as well...watched market kitchen yesterday and there was a doctor on it (from that embarassing bodies programme) He said not to skip breakfast as it slow your motabolism soooo in a bid to get slimmer I will eat some form of breakfast everyday!

so today ....

breakfast- 2 hovis best of both toasted with 2x laughing cow

lunch - wwfh chicken hotpot (this has to be my fave!)

Dinner - Homemade shepards pie and steamed vegetables. I added some mash turnip into the mash potato and it gave a really good topping...plus my daughter ate it lol

Night time - old faithful ready brek...been asked why I dont just have porridge..its simple really I like ready brek lol I also had 2 teacakes tonight.

I saved 4 points!!

Did my menu for next weeks meals..still havent got bored with it yet and I quite like the trot around asda with my hubby at night! I cut out the coupon in the paper too for the £5 or £10 off now thats a bargain lol

A night out and stayed within my points!

hello everyone!
I didnt write yesterday as had been poorly all day..I do hope when I get this scan on Sunday they find out whats up with me..as all this fainty dizziness is really horrible!
went out for our monthly film night with the girl tonight...was really good,went to see its complicated and I loved it!!!
I do have a feeling tho that Steve Martin has botoxed his self as he looked soooo puffy!
We went to pizza hut for the £4 happy hour meal and i was really good..had the wedges which are like a half portion and the pasta bol sauce with no cheese on. It came to 14 points for both and i only had lunch today so Im really happy.
I have enough for my ready brek and biccy now!

todays eating

well folks thats me munched my fill for the day!!
Managed my walk..half an hour,kind of feel better for it actually!
Been good today...not really struggling at all as yet and have to confess to not feeling like Im on a diet may well as the points go down tho.

Breakfast - hovis best of both toasted x2 with laughin cow light tiangles x2

lunch - wws spag bol and tunnocks snowball (1.5 and i lurve them lol)

Dinner - home made sweet and sour chicken with 80g dry weight cooked rice (huge portion for 7pts)

night time - ready brek, asda spicy snacks, snowball

saved 1.5 pts

week 3 weigh in...


Well hello all..


Braved week 3 weigh in today and lost 2 lbs..Im very happy with this as was worried thatid sts or something due to last weeks great loss!

Been feeling a little under the weather last couple of days but abitty better today.

Got my dinner on cooking just now and waiting on my hubbys text to say hes finished as thats when I pop the veggies on!

twas the night before weigh in...not a creature was stirring and there better be no mice lol

well here we are the night before the third weigh in....cant believe its been 3 weeks all ready!
Ive been really good,stuck to my points or just below all week and had a walk everyday...Im still nervous has had a great loss last week!

Todays eating-

breakfast - dry fried eggs x2 and toast with mushrooms

Lunch - none as was up later and had later breakfast

Dinner - creamy chicken casserole,greens and mash potato,shape low fat trifle

night time- ready brek and skimmed milk,2 tunnocks snowballs

saved 4pts today....only because I dont like to eat after 9 day before weigh in and still had 4 when I got to 9 lol

Will post tomorow morning after the big weigh in, night everyone! xx

well another saturday without chocolate .. 3 weekends now!


hi everyone,

When we started back on weight watchers on our first trip to asda for the weekly shop ..I said 'right then..what sweet u wanting for the film saturday?' Hubby said 'none lets just try and give the saturday chocs a miss and break the habit!'

My god the shock and horror must have been all over my face...a whole weekend with no chocolate,this was going to be hell!

We managed it tho watched a film and just had a normal night like we would have through the week.

Our normal thing would have been wahey the weekend and we would have blown all the good work we had done through the week.

We are 3 weeks in now and not missing it..by choc I mean heavy duty choc!! lol
Todays eating has went really good..another thing we miss is the good old take away so at the weekends ive been making meals with the take away theme...tonight we had chicken biryani and it was really fabby!! It was from a wws cook book and was only 6.5pts and a great sized portion..I actually left some!
breakfast - beans on toast
lunch- none as late breakfast but had a tunnocks snowball and cup of tea
dinner- chicken biryani and wws strawberry meringue pud
night time- toast with low low cheese and ham, tunnocks teacake and pkt salt and vinegar sticks.
saved 3 pts as well!

Its the weekend again...

Good morning everyone!
Its 1.54 am lol and yes I cant sleep quite the normal for me...why are you always sorer at night?????? agghhh hate it!
Anyways had a good day today not felt hard done to or felt the need to cheat!
Fridays is our quick tea night as we go to asdas for the weekly shop!

Breakfast - toast and apricot jam

lunch- wwfh chicken hotpot

dinner- homemade lentil soup and bread,shape trifle

night time - ready brek, 2 tunnocks snowballs,pkt golden wonder spicy snacks

25pts in total so saved 2 pts!!

I also clocked some points up walking around asda as we kept forgetting something and had to trot back for it ...as we do every week!!

I have the shopping list planned down like a military operation lol I look through my recipie books and plan the weeks dinners,lunches and then do a list of everything for the week! It works great and as we eat dinner before we go we're not tempted to buy a goody with our cups of coffee at the cafe.

Todays eating!

Well to todays eating..I have really enjoyed my meals today,as I have done most days...are you the same that when you are not constantly eating you enjoy your meals more???

Breakfast- fruit bread toasted,cup of coffee

Lunch - wwfh sweet chilli chicken

Dinner- beef bourginion(not sure of the spelling lol) with garlic mash and carrot...then a lowfat trifle

night time- my usual ready brek,teacake,skips!

saved 2 plus earned 2.5 from my walk in the freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezing cold!!!!

Not sure if I have ever said but I am on 27 pts!

When people let you down...




Today was a good day untill night time lol


Dont really know where to start..the eating has been fine havent done anything there so dont worry haha


A family member let me down today and it really hurt me..hubby said I was being silly and I should be more thick skinned but then I wouldnt be me!


I feel like some people are just take take take and never give anything in return and that sadens and really hurts me.


We have two dogs who are I suppose the apple of my eye...love them dearly they have seen me through alot with my illness's if I was sad or sore or even just weepy my wee Tara was there with her little wet nose at my face to let me know she was there.


Its very hard for me and my hubby to trust people to watch them as I constantly worry about them when we are on holiday to the point where we didnt have a holiday abroad last year. This year I asked my neice and her fiancee who we trust very much and knew would treat the dogs well..she said yes no problem and we were happy knowing that the dogs would be ok.


Tonight she 'text' (which is worse) and said her fiance didnt want the dogs as didnt want the responsibilty.......I am sure there are people reading this saying stupid woman but I was soooo hurt!


We have done alot for my neice and I felt really let down. Ive also had a really bad few years health wise and she knows how ill I am and she couldnt just not be selfish this once and help us for a change..it was bad enough they has a new years party and didnt think to ask us then came for new years day dinner..ate it said how great it was then left lol


Dog kennels really are not an option for me..my hubby just mentioned it and i was in floods of tears...maybe its nearly my time of the month but the thought of driving away and leaving them in a kennel just is not good!!

Another day in and Ive survived! :)




Evening everyone! Hope you are all well today...and for my slimming friends I hope you have all had a good day..remember anytime you need a friend or just a person to listen Im here!




Im sitting waiting on big brother coming on..yes I watch that crap show hee hee Have to confess to quite enjoying it this time but still cant stand Divina mc coll o' the woman grates on me!!




Im totally freezing as well the temperature has dipped again...in bed and keep putting my cold feet on my sleeping hubby just to watch him jump haha its funny...well for me..and stops him snoring!!

Breakfast - 2 boiled eggs and toast cut into soliders..love that mmmm




Lunch - wwfh spag bol




tea - Home made chinese chicken & mushroom curry with boiled rice and a homemade nan bread (which was good for 1 point!) wws strawberry and meringue pudding




night time - ready brek, tunnocks teacake and pkt of skips




Have to say I love my ready brek,like porridge as well but really love the honey ready brek and its really filling! Go to bed with no hunger pangs which I really like!

My god Im late tonight!! lol

Good Morning everyone...not been to bed yet but its still morning lol
Had another good day.....did my half hour walk again so happy with that.

Me and Babz have decided to do the race for life this year,I will have to walk it and take my crutch but it will be great to able to go this year as we talked about doing it last year.

Todays eating has been good and enjoyed it..

Breakfast - toast and laughing cow..seems to be the breakfast of the week lol

Lunch - wwfh tomato and basil chicken

dinner- Cod,homemade oven chips and baked beans and a wws pudding(made the chips recipie from the big fat diet programme they were really good)

night time - ready brek, skips and a teacake!

Todays menu


Good evening everyone..well this is another day in!


Feel happy with myself today as managed a half an hours walk tonight..might not seem like much but believe me its alot for me!


Me and my good friend babz pounded the freezing cold pavements for the full half hour it took my cheeks (face ones lol) at least an hour to thaw!!


The eating has went well and i also thought Id pop a recipie on for frut cake that ive found and kinda adapted but its ace and only 2.5 pts a slice..first to the eating!


Breakfast - toast and laughing cow cheese


Lunch - A wws chicken hotpot


dinner - spaghetti and meatballs (v good these were!) wws sundae


night time - ready brek, banana and teacake


banked 3.5 today another 2.5 for the walking!!



Now to the cake...


soak 300g of dry fruit overnight in 250mls of tea( I use dried cherrys,raisins,apricots and prunes)


ingrdients you will need..


1 egg

3 tablespoons skimmed milk

250g self raisin flour(sifted)

2 tsp mixed spice

100g demerera sugar


Lin a 2lb loaf tin and pop oven on at 150

mix all the ingredients together with fruit and remaining tea,keep back one spoonfull of sugar.

pop in the tin and scatter sugar remaining on the top

Bake for 1hour in the middle shelf


ENJOY...12 slices - 2.5 pts a slice!!

Week 2 weigh in..

Well happy new week everyone ...it was my 2nd weigh in today and I lost 6lbs thats me down to 18 stone 10 and at least under that horrid 19 stone mark!!
I also lost my first half stone...lots more halfs stone to go but oooh it feels good to shed the first one lol

DAILY MENUS 1

Hello again everyone ....
Emailed my good friend Karen from the winter challenge who I met on the 5+ boards at weight watchers and she suggested I logged my daily menus on my blog..might help other people might not!! Might help me not to cheat if Ive to write my food intake on the world wide web as well lol

Anyways I think ile write abit everyday about how Ive managed and what Ive eating just to help me as well. Here goes...lol

Breakfast - scrambled egg,beans and 2 slice of toast

breakfast was kind of lunch as slept late today lol as you do on a sunday!! :)

dinner - lowfat sausages,mash potato, mashed turnip, carrots and brussel sprouts( yes i like the little green suckers lol)

supper - ready brek and 3 chocolate digestives and one banana

This has been my lot today banked 5 as I get weighed 2moro morning and dont want food sitting in my belly!
You might even find the odd picture of a meal on here if I think it looks great or some recipies!! x

week one weigh in...week 2 looming!


Well hello everyone! Lost 2lbs last week...so Im well on my journey!
My hubby lost a whoppin 6lbs!!

Dont really feel like Im dieting actually but I suppose its still early days lol.

We have been eating everything varied and dont feel like im missing anything.

We both decided to give up our Saturday night chocolate fix just to see how it went and this is my 2nd week of NO chocolate lol...so Im well chuft (big cheesey lol)
